American designer Amy Smilovic began designing a line of brilliant little dresses soon after she had moved to Hong Kong several years back. Drawing inspiration from her traveling experiences, modern urban lifestyles and Asian influences, Tibi is now one of the hottest contemporary lines in the US, and has established an international presence at upscale boutiques around the world. According to Amy, "everything in the line must pass the 'casual chic' test". Naiveté and an absolute love of pretty things has always been her greatest asset. While she’s into details and frills, the design reflects closely her taste and wearable style.
